I have entered the Leica – Oskar Barnack Award competition, wish me luck!
One of my earliest memories is spending time with my father in his dark room watching him develop his photographs. Seeing an image appear from a mere piece of paper was magical to me. For a child, it is something that is close to unexplainable and the feeling of magic has always stayed with me throughout the years. And now that I am a photographer, I still feel that same magic when I see photographs appear on my screen. though they don’t have that slow fading-in effect as they did when developed on paper in developer, however, the magic and excitement is still there as they enter my computer and appear on my screen- a sort of digital developing process.
